William “Brad” Taylor is an American entrepreneur and investor recognized for building and managing global ventures in telecommunications, logistics, and crossborder family-office investments.
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Brad attended The Bolles School before earning degrees from the University of Mississippi and the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Management) and became a life member of Delta Sigma Pi. He has lived and worked in Florida, Boston, New York, England, India, and Dubai, reflecting a lifelong global perspective.
Brad began his career with Gencom in northeast Florida, one of the first experimental cellular license holders in the U.S., before joining NEC America’s mobile radio division and Glenayre Electronics. With Glenayre, he led business development across the northeastern U.S., later relocating to England in 1991 with Technical Director Bill Tartaglia to launch Glenayre Europe during Europe’s telecom deregulation era.
He subsequently moved to Dubai to co-manage Glenayre Middle East and India alongside Abdul Jaleel, deploying nationwide paging and voicemail networks in the U.K., Portugal, Spain, UAE, Oman, Malta, and India.
In 1998, Brad joined Brightpoint Middle East (later acquired by Ingram Micro) where he helped establish regional supply-chain consulting, packaging, and retail operations. He cofounded FONO, a joint venture with Dubai’s Al Maktoum family, operating more than 20 Nokia retail outlets across the Middle East and GCC. FONO was later sold to Axiom Telecom under Faisal Al Bannai.
At Brightpoint Jordan, Brad oversaw distribution operations for Fastlink Jordan with Robert Freudenberg as the General Manager, supporting the operator’s defense strategy against Umniah’s network launch. These years cemented Brad’s reputation as a strategic connector between operators, manufacturers, and investors across EMEA.

Brad co-founded Workz Group with CFO Tor Malmros, serving as CEO for 14 years. Under his leadership, Workz evolved from a regional logistics and packaging company into one of the world’s top providers of SIM, eSIM, and secure telecom supply-chain solutions, recognized by the GSMA as one of the few accredited eSIM manufacturers worldwide.
The company produced over one billion telecom cards annually, ranking for three consecutive years as the world’s largest recharge card manufacturer (Nilson Report). Workz supported over 100 mobile network operators, including Zain, du, Batelco, Vodafone, Ooredoo, Econet, Ethiotel, Viettel, and Virgin Mobile, with operations spanning 70+ countries.
Workz also established ProWorkz, a telecom consultancy business managed by Robert Freudenberg, which advised operators such as Du, Zain Group, Omantel, Virgin Mobile, Ooredoo, and Vodafone on market entry and defense strategies.
By 2019, Workz was among the world’s leading secure-technology providers and was fully acquired by Trasna Holdings, owned by Stephan Fund, in 2024.
Brad credits the success of Workz to a dedicated management team — including Saji Krishnan, Binu Haridas, Ana Pelletreau, Abdul Rasheed, Harish Sharma, Traceylee Gaskin, Rob Varty, Mark Humphreys, Edwin Haver, Richelle Wiley, Michelle Ahearn, Jodi MacDonald, Yazan Al Tamimi, and others — whose contributions shaped Workz’s pioneering role in the industry.
In 2010, Brad founded DUSU Holdings LLC, an independent family-office and investment platform based in the United Arab Emirates, with diversified assets across the U.S., U.K., and UAE. DUSU manages real estate, private investments, and structured financial products, emphasizing capital preservation, income stability, and generational wealth planning.
Between 2015 and 2018, Brad also served as a Non-Executive Director at Reproflex3, working with Andrew Hewitson and Trevor Lowes to establish their UAE operations.
Today, through DUSU Holdings, Brad continues to oversee cross-border investment and wealth management strategies, blending the discipline of institutional finance with the values of family stewardship.
Brad is married to Su Taylor, an English national and long-time UAE resident. They have two daughters based in the United States. The Taylor family divides time between Dubai, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and the United Kingdom, maintaining deep connections across three continents.
Brad’s father, William M. Taylor, served as State Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida for eight years in the 1980s, while his mother, Shirley Taylor, was Associate Director of Volunteer Jax.
